Luis Ospina and Carlos Mayolo were among the most influential figures in Colombian cinema. In the 1970's they captured stories of their country and their friends and explored the boundaries between fiction and documentary cinema with a sense of humor, audacity, formal imagination and an enormous empathy for marginal people.
